Getting a good photo of polo is an incredible challenge because of the speed of the action and the changes in direction of play.  We are always delighted when photographers send us their shots of polo match. We dedicate this page of our website to the photos sent to us by polo fans who take pictures as a hobby. If you take take digital photos at a polo match, we'd love to see them - whether they're shots are of horses, players, fans, or dogs. Email your photos to us and if we can, we'll put them on the Tinicum website.

Herb Raynes took these terrific photos at the July 21, 2007 polo match.  We've never seen anything like the shot of Audrey VanLuvanee below - her horse is literally flying and Audrey's mallet seems to be bending.  (We know polo mallets are flexible, but that's amazing.)  Mr. Raynes tells us he used a Nikon D200 & a Nikon 80-200 f2.8 lens to take the photos.
