All pooches also received gift bags with treats, frizbees, key chains, dog food can lids and measuring cups and bandanas. A big thank you to Val Washington from Hill's Science Diet for so generously supplying the gift bag items! This is the third year Hill's Science Diet has supported our show and we really appreciate their involvement.

To celebrate our Bucks County Parks and Recreation Appreciation Day, Tinicum Park Polo Club set out an elegant buffet dinner for all attendees. Pooches sat under tables and waited hopefully for tidbits from their people.

When all the judging was finished, everyone paraded around the field with their ribbons. What a day for dog lovers and their best friends!

Basil heels for Kathi Harrington and Simba sits for Clara Rice

Thanks to Kathi Harrington, creator and organizer of Pooches and Polo, for making the event so much fun! Kathi serves as the Chairman of Tinicum Park Polo Club's Social Committee, which manages social membership and special events. When she's not busy with polo, she finds the time to be a successful small business owner and a watercolor portrait artist.

Thanks also to Carol Stahl for serving as such a fine Master of Ceremonies. It was great to actually see her, since usually we only hear her as she gives us the play by play during polo matches. Carol is also the owner of Carol's Custom Creations, which is Tinicum Polo's Pro Shop.

Friends in Red Plaid, Ginger and Frank De Moreland. Ginger danced on her hind legs with Frank to be #2 "Terrific Pet Trick" winners. (It reminded us of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rodgers)

Chloe Brady with Aspen, who was rescued from the streets of NYC. Aspen jumped over 2 chairs to win "Terrific Pet Trick".
