At our annual Pooches and Polo event on September 17, we have a special dog show and parade. As you can see by the judging categories below, we invite you and your pooch to have fun and be creative.
Enter your pooch in as many categories as you like and join the parade at 4:10. Every participant will receive a doggy gift bag. The only cost is the usual $10 per car fee for attending the polo match.

Best Tail Wagging
Dogs (not the handler) will be judged on the exuberance of their tail motion.

Best Mirror Image
Which handler looks most like their canine companion?

Most Obedient
Show off how well your dog listens to your commands.

Most Original Costume
A class to judge the dog and/or handler on their entertaining attire.

Least Obedient
If you didn't win for most obedient, then here is the chance to win a ribbon.

Most Mysterious Heritage
A class for those lovable pets whose features cross all lines of breed characteristics. You will not find this class at Westminster.

Terrifc Pet Tricks
Show off your dog's talent to do anything. It does not have to be outrageous.

Best Celebrity Look-Alike
If your dog looks like Eddie from TV's Frasier, Lassie, or even a human star, such as Cher, Madonna, Alfred Hitchcock, this can be his/her stage.

Best Multiple
Double, triple or multiply your pleasure with a pair or more of dogs being shown together. They will be judged on how much they look alike and on how well they work together.

Most Glamorous
Paris, Milan, New York, Dupont Circle. This category is for canines with class and a little bit of attitude. Watch out for the paparazzi!

Best Vocal Performance
Move over Barbara, get of the way Celine. This category features canine crooners with the most unforgettable vocal talents.

Most Adorable ("ya jus' gotta love me")
They may not be glamorous, but they are loving, sweet and really glad to greet their owners at the door.

People's Choice Award

All the 1st place winners from the previous classes will be invited back to be judged by the crowd as the best of show.

Pet Parade

Gather at the end of the field near the horse trailers for a parade past the fans.
